  Incredibly late (without any notice), rude, and they tried to rip us off. When we objected to the price (quoted amount/hr + GST + 20 minutes travel time before and after the job, neither of which we were told about until the final bill came, which added almost $100 to the 'job') the removalist threatened to steal our property.

  I thought Guardian provided a good service. On time, and at about the amount that I had estimated from the information provided in advance of the shift, which necessarily involved multiple trips. Paudie and Kirk were friendly, hard working and very obliging in conforming to my requirements.

  These guys are absolute frauds! Beware! Quote an hourly rate then do the job and tell you its per person and charge you for 6 or 7 hours of work when at most it was 4 or 5! Both times there eftpos machine was "broken" and to top it off they destroyed furniture and take no responsibility . Absolute frauds!

  They also took a ten minute smoke break, which we were billed for, after being at the property for just over half an hour after arriving three hours late. If these guys are the only removalist company free on the day of your move, I recommend just moving on another day.

  Booked in - turned up - didn't have what they needed to lift my piano even though they told us they could move it. Didn't have anything to move or lift it and no straps to secure it in van.
